HVAC Diagnostic Assistant is a pocket service console — fault codes, airflow checks, and job notes on your iPhone. This page covers what the app may touch, what stays in your truck kit, and what we never hand to equipment advertisers or data brokers.

Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the HVAC Diagnostic Assistant mobile app on the Apple App Store and to public pages hosted on this domain. It is written for technicians using the app and visitors reading this page.
Information
HVAC Diagnostic Assistant does not require your legal name, email, phone, shop address, or payment card for core diagnostic tools.
Fault codes, equipment tags, setpoint logs, and service notes you enter remain for your in-app workflow. We do not reuse them for targeted advertising or resale.
Remote content
When the app opens optional public material — for example a linked reference page — it may load that content from a public URL. Those pages are generic; nothing from your private job log is sent upstream.
Camera & microphone
If you photograph a nameplate or record a short compressor clip, HVAC Diagnostic Assistant may request camera, photo library, or microphone access only when you choose to capture. Contacts and precise location stay unused unless a future feature clearly needs them and this policy is updated.
Device
Sessions and notes stay in on-device storage. Diagnostics you voluntarily share with Apple follow Apple’s privacy terms.
Hosting
Infrastructure partners operate this policy page and any public routes on this domain. They may retain traffic logs needed for security and uptime under their own practices.
Minors
HVAC Diagnostic Assistant is meant for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact App Store support if a minor saved data by mistake and we will help clear it where we can.
Retention & security
Logs you keep in HVAC Diagnostic Assistant remain under your control on your device. Delete jobs in-app or uninstall to wipe local storage.
We apply reasonable safeguards to hosted assets. No service is perfectly secure — treat service notes like a locked job folder, not a public dispatch board.
Your choices
Leave HVAC Diagnostic Assistant whenever you choose. Revoke camera, photo, microphone, or network access in iOS Settings for an offline kit where supported.
